  • Raleigh gained a lot of attention when it was listed as America’s Best City by Bloomberg Business Week magazine in 2011. The study examined not only livability factors like access to green space per capita, number of restaurants and access to professional sports teams, but also factored in other characteristics like quality of schools, job market, income and crime. With a strong business base in health care, technology and research, as well as some of the country’s best universities, Raleigh remains a great place to live and work.
